Here's a different way. If you have two tables side by side that have different heights, but want them to align with both bottoms parralel to each other you can do this by first figuring the height of both tables and add a compensator spacer tag in the cell with the shortest table.
Like this:
The left table has a height of 175 and the right one has a height of 200. Above the left table is another table with a height of 25 effectively and invisibly taking up the extra space to make both tables align horizontal and parallel on the bottom of each other.
