Meet Sammi

1. When did you first go on line?

In 1997

2. Did you start with MSNTV?

WebTV Classic.. then around 2000, I got my first PC.. I hated it at first.. The more I played on it though, and found out what I could do, the more I enjoyed it.

3. Do you now have a PC and MSNTV ?

Yep.. Have both..

4. Which do you use most?

The PC.

5. What is your passion on line?

Just BEING online! LOL. No, Creating greeting pages and cards for people to send around. I love making the images for them. I love creating in Paint Shop Pro.

6. What led you into your passion....who was your mentor?

I taught myself, HTML using Pauls website. I dont remember the name of it, but I know his webpages were really helpful for webtv folks.

7. What got you started ?

I remember getting an email from someone, and it looked so pretty! I wanted to know how it was done. Later I realized people loved to send each other greetings and pages. I wanted people to send MY pages, too.. So I started my greeting card site.

8. How did you learn?

By just playing around.. thats how I've learned everything I know. (which isnt much) LOL. And its good to belong to an group, like Tandem Tooters, where if you have questions, you can ask, and someone will help you. I belong to several now.

9.What advice would give someone who would like to learn how?

The best way to learn anything, is to just play around. Look at other peoples pages, and the coding used to create it. I looked at TONS of greeting card sites, and how they were set up.

10. What, in your opinion, is the hardest part ?

Coming up with fresh ideas for my greetings :-)

11. What new endeavors are you persuing?

I am trying to learn more about PHP & MYSQL. I'm really fascinated by what you can do with that. I run alot of scripts on my site, that uses those. And I also want to learn more about making my own images in PSP.

12. What's the funniest or most embarrassing incident that you remember about being on MSNTV ?

Sending a personal email to one of the email groups I belong to, (where lots of folks receive the message), that I only meant to send to ONE person :-)
